Essay Collection

“Facing Hawai‘i’s Future” is a 95-page book published in 2013 by the nonprofit organization Hawai‘i SEED. This collection of essays by authors, researchers, lawyers, farmers and community activists presents “the bigger picture” of genetically engineered agriculture in Hawai‘i and raises important questions about the future of this industry in the Islands. On the content side, I was responsible for editing existing pieces, assigning new ones, and writing one essay. On the production side, I was responsible for graphic design and working with the publisher and printer to deliver the final product.
